Took the RX-8 out for a drive.... some pix

T'was a nice day yesterday and since bringing her back last weekend, I didn't get the chance to drive it enthusiastically.  ;) So took her out to the countryside. Here are some pix. For those camera buffs out there who are curious, these are shot with 30d+efs 10-22 and ef28-105.

Beautiful shots.

Just don't try and shoot anything today - won't be able to tell what is the car and what is the cloud and rain. Ugh ...

Nah, my wife drives it to work daily. I'm gonna give the Swedenese a good wash and wax job one of these days. In fact I just put in fresh Mobil 1 oil. Having said that, after driving the 8, the 92x felt kinda woolly and not as responsive. Maybe it's in the Eco mode right now. Better reflash back to StageII rocket mode...

Amazing car.  Amazing pictures!

I had a chance to test-drive one of those... and I must admit, the RX-8 was the best handling car I've driven to date.

It didn't appear as powerful as the Mazdaspeed6, but boy, was it agile!
