Are you joking?

A year old Five Hundred gets traded into a Toyota dealer and that Toyota dealer will not dilute his product with that car so off it must go to either a wholesaler or the auction.

A year old Camry gets traded into a Ford dealer and that Ford dealer sticks it right up at the roadway for a quick sale.  That's what we are really talking about; desirability/demand.

No, I'm not joking. A Toyota manager with any brains will be on the phone to the local Ford dealers to sell that car. Only an idiot would go to the trouble of sending an '06 500 to an auction.

We bought 2 '07 Camrys and ended up losing money on both as old stockers. Toyotas are definitely not an automatic easy sell on a Ford lot. On the other hand, we cannot get enough AWD 500's or Fusions - they fly off the lot.

In Alberta I don't doubt any used Ford flys off the lot, but not in Ontario.
