Hey Jaeger, thanks for the good pictures. You know we do share your joy! :drv2:

Just wondering: how's the handling? I know Nissan has basically redone the chasis, but the VQ35 is kind of heavy.

One of the few more adventurous designs in the midsize sedan market.  Nice wheels...glad you're enjoying it.

The handling is really quite good - for a large-ish FWD family sedan.  It handles steady-state cornering (on-ramps and such) very well.  It takes a set and digs in most reassuringly.  Body roll is minimal.  Steering is responsive, if somewhat over-boosted at low speeds.  My daily driving doesn't replicate the rapid lateral transitions of a slalom run, but I expect that in this scenario the mass and tallish height would make themselves known.  Still, some mag reviews have recorded pretty darned good slalom speeds for a car in this class - and all on some decidedly mediocre OE rubber.

Overall, I would put its handling behind the two other cars I came closest to buying - the TSX (smaller, lighter, though surprisingly with a larger turning radius) and the Mazdaspeed 6 (smaller, 4WD, 18" performance summer tires and a more dedicated sports suspension).  I found it handled a lot better than many others (Camry SE, Maxima, Passat, Accord, base TL).

I expect that with a mild drop and 18" wheels with sticky shoes (the only real future mods I have in mind) the handling will be as good as anyone could reasonably expect.
