Very nice ride!

Just wondering... why not get a 5-speed manual?  Cheaper, and more fun to drive.

 ;D

Didn't get the manual because the girlfriend doesn't want to learn it unfortunately, and this is our only vehicle for the foreseeable future.

The value of this car is really what attracted me to this specific model.  It is only $1500 more than the base model Impreza and you get the moonroof, fog lights, heated seats, upgraded stereo/speakers/tweeters/aux, upgraded seats, tonneau cover, auto climate control, upgraded muffler tip, nicer rims, leather steering wheel, and a couple body trim upgrades.  We needed something with a little space, but also wanted it to have some sportiness to it.  Needless to say we're very pleased.

Geat car!  I wish I could have afforded an Impreza when I got my Aerio.  I am very happy with my car, but if I had a $28 000 budget instead of a $22 000 budget I know exactly where my $$$ would have gone...

Congrats on your new Impreza! I'm buying a car in August, deciding between an Impreza, a Rabbit or a Mazda3. Please count me in for your CarCost raffle.

Btw, did you get any discount?

Wow!  That's a lot of good stuff for $1500

I like that two tone interior.   Very nice.

It's only $150 or so for manual driving lessons at the driving school for those already know how to drove automatics. :)

inco and bwhiting are the two winners.  Please send me a pm with your email and I will get a report to you.  Or if you feel like you won't use it, let me know and I will draw another name.  Thanks.

WEll I won! I can't believe I actually won and Aaron thanks for the offer. If there are other readers out there looking for a price send your pm to Aaron and let him fulfill your needs.

I appreciate the offer, but right now we have not decided on any one car. Maybe by June nor July. ;)

dr_spock, do you happen to know where I can get manual driving lessons in Toronto? (I already know how to drive an automatics)

Goalies, could you send me a copy of your Impreza CarCostCanada report?

You can try Young Drivers of Canada.  There are a bunch of them in the Toronto area.  It took me about 2 private lessons to get the hang of driving manual.
