Unfortunately, a trend that is only just starting; it will get worse until the days of the Oil Wars, then who knows?  :P

Yep…we are. I encourage young people to seek education in resource extraction, power generation, or catering to the people who sell stuff from China.

Time to impose tariffs to off-set the artificially low Yuan.

At least the Yuan is no longer fixed.  :)

Teaching English in China is very popular right now, not sure what the pay is tho.  :) Corporate culture is very different, don't think I can last 30 days in a Main Land China Corporate working environment.

I would hardly call a 2% bump and trading within a range “free trade” double digits are required. Considering the environmental damage created by China with unregulated manufacturing a “green” tax should be added on top to make a level playing field.

There was never a level playing field, there will never be. The game is reversing now, our economies cannot compete with China at the same level or same markets. Value-addition in products gave a boost to our economies, Chinese and others are doing that now. As Snowman has said earlier, we need to focus on our strengths and raise the bar in those areas, again its value-addition to certain services and sectors which will lead us through.
