How long is a piece of string?

You may need to add more things like...

driving style
dry or wet performance
cash flow
etc
A subwoofer should only be noticed once it has been turned off.

Not sure if you can a set of Yoki ES100 mounted and balanced for under $500. I had a set of the ES100, lasted 3 years summers, very good wet traction, on dry pavement the grip was excellent as well. Very poor traction and unpredictable in the cold tho. Stop ability was great, tread-wear life very so-so. I didn't find them noisy tho, as others indicated.

Here's what my ES100's looked like after half a track day (actually a track evening) at Shannonville, on a Civic interestingly enough.

The front shoulders chunked pretty badly.  Mind you, the Carousel corner on the Nelson track configuration was absolute :censor: then.  Everyone tore up their boots on it.

Otherwise I was happy with the tire at the track.   It was after the tire wore past half depth that they got noisy, and I mean really noisy...

Lemme know if you want more real world or track feedback on 'em.

I would not buy ES100's again, personally.   Plus, depending on sizes, the Yokes are likely 25% more costly than the Kumho's.

I've had so many brands of tires over the years, based on what I'm reading out there,   lotsa guys seem very happy with the Kumhos.   From a price perspective they look hard to beat.   This is however, a brand I have no first hand experience with, but it is virtually at the top of my shopping list.

What would you suggest?  for tire size 195/50/15? or even 205/50/15

a decent summer tire for daily and also trackable?

This is starting to sound like a broken record.

Streetable and trackable. All depends how good you want to do at the track. You will end up sacrificing either way. If you not worried about wet then look at RS-2 or RT-615.

Hey didn't I say that like 5 times now?  Loudpedal I think your tires kind of chunked up due to overheating you really have to take it easy on streets and head to the pits more often unfortunately.

;D  I don't think I could do this to tires on the streets.   I had to sacrifice my tires to catch and pass those VR6's...corners were the only place at Shannonville I could get that done.  Those pesky VW's would pull 3-5 car lengths on my Civic down the straights  :P
