World's Most Beautiful Autos named

As part of the 22nd Annual International Automobile Festival, a team of judges has chosen its Most Beautiful Automobiles of the World for 2007, and no, the U.S. did not come home with a trunk of gold medals in this competition. We Americans will just have to be content with our two silvers.

And so you can argue the merits of the competition's judges, here they are:

An awful lot of Italian judges.....   why are there no judges with size 54 Levis check shirts, suspenders and caps with "Offenhauser" on them ?

Spider I assume means two seat roadster? In that case Miata, Sky Solstace could have at least come in second. The Pontiac is rather fetching in particular.

Toyota 2000GT? Admittly it was styed by a German-American.  :rofl2:

The second generation MR2 was nicely styled but certainly in a mini-Ferrari mold.

I think many of the North American cars are much nicer looking myself but thats just my view. Some of them on the list deserve to be there of course but some just don't cut it at all.  :)
