Hi All
With the weather hopefully getting warmer and cleaner, the time is fast approaching for the smell of car cleaning stuff, sore arms and elbows and satisfaction of having a clean shiny car. With this in mind I have some questions and looking for advice that I hope some of the more experienced folks here on the forum can help me with:
1. Rinse car with a garden hose on low pressure to get rid of the larger particles of dirt. Wash tires and rims with its own cloth, mitt, rim brush using Maguiars Endurance for tires and Hot Rims for the wheels.
2. Hand wash car with a mitt and DAWN to remove old wax and then rinse.
(How much DAWN should be used and should the car be washed and rinsed in sections? Or just rinse after whole car is washed?)
3. Wash car again with Meguiars Gold Class Car Wash with mitt, rinse and dry.
(Same question as 2 but omit reference to DAWN)
4. Inspect car for scratches and if found use Scratch X. Use Quik Clay bar on whole vehicle for that smooth as glass finish.
5. Apply coat of NXT wax and buff to a beautiful shine.
6. Spray and wipe dry windows with Stoner Invisible Glass cleaner.
7. Get lawn chair, sit next to car and enjoy a beer while you admire your clean shiny car before the wife finds something else for you to do.

Any recommendations comment or steps I may have missed? Please post any suggestions or observations you may have.
Also, If I want to put another coat of wax on the car after the old wax begins losing its shine, should I wash the car with a DAWN solution to remove the old wax or should I just use the Gold Class car wash solution with water and reapply more NXT wax? Will another coat of wax within a week be beneficial?
