Well, it didn't last long!

This will be my run-around for the foreseeable future, it's 7 years old and cost about $11K.  I had it checked over by a Subaru specialist and he said it was a very clean unmodified example.  Enough talk, I've just insured it and am going out for a blast, my god it's quick.  I think it's only got about 220bhp but it feels much quicker, some pics (clicky for full screen):

P.S. It's going in for a full service in a  couple of weeks, and (ahem) a slightly larger exhaust...  ;)

Congrats Bob and you sure are a certifiable car nut.  I guess a person can only take withdrawal for so long.  I'm sure Snowman will be long shortly to help spend your money on mods.

Only $11,000 though? That's like, what, a bit less than 5,000 pounds? I thought cars were stupid expensive in the U.K. (lots of taxes). Is that just the going rate for those over there, or did you get a great deal on this one?

Thought it inexpensive example as well.

God, love the aggressive front on that. Big fogs, all the air inlets, scoop, etc.

Looks to be in very nice shape Bob, hope you enjoy it for years to come or until it stays there and you don't. Maybe a exhaust update and a chip or 2 will help it increase in the pony dept. You can not ever have too much HP.  :)
