It would be close.  Both ring in at $100k each.....A Z06 and the S4 would be fine...or a S60R.

Well, while you're settling, why bother with a Z06.  I'm sure a regular C6 would be good enough for you.  Or perhaps a 1981 C4?  With automatic and the 305.  :P  :)  And why not just save a few more bucks and forgo the proper S4 engine for the 2.0T?  Geez... what a killjoy, Mdx.  :)

I would go for the Z-06 and STI as my fun combo.

I don't make the money you do Daddy big bucks.  Corvette...I'd be happy with a Chevette.

I like the concept of an S60R for the winter weather. ;D Always loved that car, I've only ever seen one on the road - mind you they are hard to spot.

WRX wagon/sedan/Saab versions would offer some cheap thrills too. Hell, you could even go for a Jeep SRT-8 - nothing like a 13 second SUV for those cold winter months. Even a Subaru Legacy SPEC B? ...and on....and on....and on....

But something just occured to me.......I'm driving a $30000 car. Anyone here actually in the market for a 911 or a ZO6? Or are we arguing based on dreams and "what ifs" again? hah

I agree...the GM cheap-a$$ interior is a deal breaker for me.  When they said the interior was now "world class", I was excited to see it.  Then I saw it and almost started laughing...or crying.

How bad is it?  I met up with a Z06 driver (I think I told this story once before?) at a gas station.  We were both checking out each others cars.  He wasn't a car guy (and was rather fat too..BARELY fit in the Z06 he was so large) and really had no idea how old the Supra is.  He said "That's a nice interior on your car...." He went on to comment it was as nice as his C6, and he really liked how the center stack was tilted towards the driver.  His face dropped when I told him my car was a 1994....

So in effect, the Z06 has an interior comparable to a 1994 car.  Personally, I think some of the materials are a bit nicer in the Z06 than my Supra.  But again...my car is 12 years old.
How fast is my Supra?  I sh*t on Cessnas from a roll....

1994 Vette had center stack tilted towards the driver, as did quite a few cars in early to mid 90s... that was the design trend at the time.
I do agree with general poor quality comments though.
