Wow! $156,000 for a Porsche Targa! My money would definetely go towards an Aston Martin V8 Vantage at that price point, absolutely ridiculous....$4800 for an auto transmission
The V8 Vantage can be had for about $130,000 and the the roadster version for $150,000

Audi R8 for me
The 911 would be second choice. I'm not so smitten by the Vuittons Astons for whatever reason. |

Dreamers like to dream....
I'll take a 911. Aston's look good...but that's about it from my eyes.

The exterior of this car is classic. But the interior - the center console is just terrible. You think they would spend some time and design a bit better. Low end Kias have better interiors than this car. |

You talk about the past like it was yesterday....what's it doin' tomorrow? Once you get it fixed, I'd have a 911 C4 to drive around...year round. And we know how likely that's going to happen.

The centre console is busy with small buttons, but the materials are great in my opinion. But then again, I haven't been inside a low rent Kia.

Winter tires should have been installed for the test. |

The vehicle is equipped with winter tires, it would be undriveable in Ottawa without them. |

If some Fairy Godmother ( quiet Saf! ) forced a Porker into my unwilling hands I'd want a Boxster S with a hard top ( no Cayman) and I'll keep the change please for a winter beater.
But.... that must be fun on a icy road with that (mostly) fixed torque awd and super Blizzaks. |

So would you say wing, that the 911 is a glorious car that can do it all? Are you going to give it them steering wheel ratings?
I haven't had the pleasure of being in the 997 (yet)....but the previous 911's are great. If only I had the money to match my tastes.
