That's exactly what they say...in 34 years of buying cars, first time stung, this type of poor manufacturer support expected with VW, Ford. would have never expected this treatment from a large company like Toyota.

Especially not @ 34K

I gotta say that, having seen instances of poor fit and finish in some Toyotas of late (none that I've driven myself, mind you), I wonder if they've become complacent. Hyundai and Kia are screwing together interiors that are the equal, if not better, than those in some Toyotas.
