I was interested in the PT Cruiser back then.   I have a 1/35 scale model on my desk, does that count?   I didn't end up buying the full scale model since spouse didn't approve.

Car and Driver has always preferred the Accord, saying it's more a driver's car. I'm sure the Accord is a fine car. I've ridden in a current generation V6 Accord many times. Very nice car.

The Camry has attributes that many people like, as it's a popular car. In our household, we weighed those strengths and weaknesses differently than C and D and it came out on top over the Accord when we were looking for a mid-size family sedan. Different strokes for different folks.

Well, er , nothing actually,  but if one TSB deserves another and the issue is that of reliabilty and build quality, inserting a piece about the alltime leader, to which others try to copy, seemed appropriate to show that they too have problems.

The 2004 Toyota Camry has 45 (!!!) TSBs listed on the NHTSA site.

Obviously this must mean the Camry is almost twice as unreliable as the PT Cruiser.

You lost me there.  But read the TBS and the PT Cruiser has 3 dominate themes.  Tranny, engine, cooling.  Welcome to the world of used Neons which is what a PT Cruiser is and when 5 years old is a car to avoid, like a Ford.

Highs: Acceleration, access, interior flexibility.
Lows: Visibility, turning circle, push-button exterior door handles, cargo room behind rear seat.

The nostalgic PT Cruiser's interior versatility is one of its strong points. The rear seat is roomy and can be removed to enlarge the cargo area. The turbocharged four-cylinder engine provides the performance the non-turbo models lack and has better fuel economy. Expect 20 mpg overall, but on premium fuel. The GT version is quick but needs to be revved to deliver power. Handling is secure but not particularly agile, and the ride is compliant. Recent tweaks have improved some of the controls. But a wide turning circle, flawed driving position, and compromised visibility are detractions. The convertible is one of few that offer a roomy rear seat.
The PT is recommended by CR.

I'm unoffendable. 

Like articsteve has done, you should look at any trends with TSB's.  My Pathy has over 35 (some are combined years, some are US only, some Canada only) but when they include things like rattling rear license plate (put two pieces of rubber behind the plate, at the bottom and voila, fixed!) rather than head gaskets, trannie issues and some of the other stuff listed for other cars then I am happy.  TSB count alone is not a good measure of a vehicles reliability.  They need to be taken in context.
