I hope the vehicle is a lot better than the website. I saw that a few weeks ago and it hasn't gotten any faster. While the pix are nice there isn't a flow to the whole site and the music jumps around.

The Veracruz itself looks good and I know it's in production already, but no prices have emerged yet. It will be in Detroit - Toronto?

Even though for the most part I am a fan of the Hyundai turnaround (the new Elantra being the sole exception here), looks are really only skin deep. A thorough test will reveal what is really under the skin - even if the website is slow as molases.

"looks aren't ONLY skin deep" in AUTO Purchasing...I'll BET they are Number 1 or 2 in 95% of NEW PURCHASES...............
THERE IS NO CURE FOR "LOTUS"......ONLY TREATMENT.....

Love the look!  :o I still prefer the size of my 07 Santa Fe tho. But I will take the LED taillights and the lighted outside mirrors any day!

They have another winner here.

Pricing quoted to be under $30 US, which doesn't say much as the Acadia and CX-9 start just shy as well.

Have now been hearing all models have leather, all models have 4WD, starts under $40 Cdn. Sounds pretty good.

Yeah - sounds good to me to. If they are as good a package as the Sonata and new Santa Fe have been, they should fly out of dealerships.

Some of the instrumentation pics must be of a diesel engined version.  One pic has a 4.5K redline with a warning lamp indicator for glow plugs.
Internal combustion thrust I trust

I heard that too about leather and under $40 which should translate into a good deal. However in talking with one of my Korean friends yesterday apparently Hyundai is on strike there and no cars being shipped. Ouch.

I thought the strike was resolved?

Hyundai ALWAYS has a strike every year since I can remember. If I were them I would be sprouting plants elsewhere, as workers demand big hikes every year in South Korea and don't mind hurting the corporation in the process. It's ridiculous.

A few Hyundai auto plants are outside of Korea - Alabama or Tenessee comes to mind on this side of the big pond. Also - don't forget that Hyundai is a huge conglomerate with lots of different manufacturing facilities. They make consumer vehicles, electronics, oil tankers, and just about everything in between. Not every business or manufacturing unit strikes every year, and I am not sure who's turn it is this year to walk the line.
