I was surprised the hear that Cooksville Mitsubishi (opened a couple of years ago) has already changed ...apparently either Hyundai or Kia.

I remember just a couple of weeks driving past Dundas, Mississauga and notice lots of eclipse parked..

My question is in GTA, there is only a handful of dealers. Who is going to service all the cars and warranty.

I like the 2007 Outlander too..Darn..

There were 2 in Ottawa (West and East) the East dealership shutdown and the west works out of a portable.... not very inspiring.

There are only 8 in all of BC. 6 are in the Lower Mainland, 1 on Vancouver Island (Nanaimo) and one in OvrLand (Kelowna). Even less inspiring I would say.  ::) ::)

Does Mitsu have a deal with any garages to service their vehicles under warranty if you don't live in the area?  Being in Victoria, it would help me atleast even consider them if I knew I could get it serviced locally.

If things tank completely Mitsu may walk away from their warranty obligations as their Canadian subsidiary is on the hook, a company with no hard assets;  Mitsubishi Motor Sales of Canada, Inc. (MMSCAN) is the exclusive Canadian sales, marketing and distribution subsidiary of one of the world’s largest automakers.

A prudent person would not buy a car that is potentially so close to being an orphan.  That would of course speed the demise of Mitsu in Canada as their sales would drop further still.
A common mistake that people make when trying to design something completely foolproof is to underestimate the ingenuity of complete fools.

Caught in a slump with no real plan to change things....Mitsubishi is falling fast...from an already low rung.

Does this mean NO EVO_X, and I will have to get a JDM EVO when I can afford one?  ;D

STILL TWO Mitsu dealers left in Cowtown, Right or Left, MD? You get to drive!  :)
