When I had my '02 Impreza TS, I always thought of it as a wagon, so I've voted accordingly. |

For roof rack and extended length of the roof horizontally behind the rear doors, I call it a wagon. |

This is a wagon?
No, it's a hatch. To me, a wagon needs 4 doors. One could point out that there was a Firefly 4-door hatch and a Volkswagen Fox 2-door wagon but those are abberations. Besides, wikipedia defines the difference between a hatch and a wagon as the former having a smaller load area than the latter. |

To me, the Magnum and Mazda6 are wagons. The Imprezza, Vibetrix, Mazda3, Rabbit are all hatches. |

I actually voted hatch but I believe the majority will say wagon.
At what point in degrees of the slope does it become a hatch vs wagon? Some of the MB wagons have a sloping rear cargo door removing valuable cubic space. |

How is it possible that after electricity has traveled through hundreds of miles of power line then hundreds of feet (or yards) of romex in our home, that changing the last three feet of wire with something exotic, expensive (cool looking, and packaged in a pricey box) is going to make a difference?

It's a hatch because it is just as long as the sedan. To me a wagon has an extended cargo area compared to a sedan. |

So what is the Mazda6 then? I thought all three models are the same length. |

Often, if there's a 3rd window on the side between the rear doors and hatch of larger size, I think it a wagon. The Vibetrix and A3 are in between. Really, what is a wagon but a stretched hatch? |
