A shame that the prices are not in there...I would REALLY like to see the standard price and the "tourist price"    Assuming that the latter is the EU pick up price.
A common mistake that people make when trying to design something completely foolproof is to underestimate the ingenuity of complete fools.

Did you read "Administrative fee for ordering special colours, interiors or equipment"

They  had that on the e46. I inquired about non-metallic paint and was told I could have any colour that was offered on any Germany built BMW for the "administrative fee"  which IIRC was about $2000 at that time.

Shame there is no 328xi cab

:o  That's highway robbery.  I thought the general rule with custom-built cars (where you check off the options packages and colors) was that you wouldn't be able to negotiate any discounts.  But paying above MSRP just for the "privilege" of selecting your own options?  That's crazy talk.

I was told that it paid for, in this case of non-standard paint, the effort involved in getting that bodyshell out of the line and into the "non-metallic paint that is not black, red or white" paint shop.
needless to say I did not do it.

REALLY like that 3 Cabrio.

Audi has special order paints available, for $800, $1,000, or $1,800 depending. But they don't have a huge range anymore.

I'm really into colours, so if I liked it I would pay the money to get what I wanted.
If they had some of the A3 colours for the GTI, I would have paid it.
