They've also got an astronomical discount on their remaining new '06 Ford 500 too.
+

They might as well clear them out as they may be a tough sell when the 500 gets the new 3.5
Internal combustion thrust I trust

That's a great deal.  I also saw Village Nissan in Markham advertise a big discount on the Bonavista Edition, but it was a bit higher than above: $25,998.

I was once a sales consultant at Village Nissan. May I direct you elsewhere?  :-X

Ouch!  Any particular reason?

They weren't TERRIBLE, just old-school sales dept with appropriate tactics. That was 3 years ago... maybe the situation has changed. Service satisfaction seemed to be decent though.

That does mean Terrible, a little hint of criticism from sirAqua means that.

Just wondering if anyone bought or considering to buy a 2006 X-trail, if you can share your best quote , I was quoted $27,973 on the road including taxes for XE auto AWD (metro Toronto), just wondering if I can do better

On Thursday there was a nice glossy 8-pg insert in my local newspaper from Daimler-Chrysler.  Among the deals listed, they were offering a new '07 Jeep Liberty (3.7L w/ automatic, A/C) in a 48 mo. lease at $325/mo w. $0 down and $0 sec. deposit.  Given that equipped that way, it'd be a roughly $30k vehicle, this seems too good to be true.

Considering you can't even lease a Subaru Impreza wagon for that price, I wonder if there's a similarly equipped AWD wagon for less $$$?

The local Ford dealership has a sign out front advertising "$10,800 discount on remaining NEW 2006 Ford Super Duty trucks".  They've also got an astronomical discount on their remaining new '06 Ford 500 too.

$10,800 discount  :o Gee, I wish my lease on my GMC was up sooner. There are a few SD’s on the Ford lots up here.

In case anyone's looking to make some last minute deals...

Claimed $750 off new Jettas.

Also, Ajax Mazda had new '06MY clearouts advertised this month:
- '06 Mazda3 Sport GT MSRP $24,595, $22,495 save $2,100 (1 remaining: 5spd auto, A/C, roof)
- '06 Mazda6 GS sedan MSRP $26,495, $21,995 save $4,500 (3 remaining: auto, sport pkg w/ABS trac)
- '06 MX-5 GT MSRP $33,995, $29,995 save $4,000 (3 remaining: 6spd manual, leather, A/C, soft top) - now that's a great deal
- '06 RX-8 GT MSRP $41,295, $33,900 save $7,395 (4 remaining: 6spd manual, leather, roof) - again, superb value there!

They've probably still got a weird 06 or two in stock - a Lariat longbox with a 5.4 or something like that. Considering that 2008's are now in stock, big discounts on 06's should be expected.

RX=8 Performance Package ($3500 value for free)

http://www.mazda.ca/files/2007_rx8_pp_en.pdf

No charge for 06-07 models.

Wheels, intake and some fluff.

I wouldn't mind those wheels for my wagon though.

For the Rx-8 I'd rather see a big chunk of cash on the hood - rather than free accesories I won't buy anyway. If we saw even close to the US sale prices of these I'd buy one.

...or at least a free set of snowtires / wheels.

SirAqua, those are killer deals on the RX8 and MX5.  At $29,999 for the GT, that's barely more than I paid for my heavily discounted GS!   :o  And if I'd have been able to get the RX8 at that price a 14 months ago, I'd be driving one of those instead.

Fack, that is one serious discount for a Cute Ute. I would hate to be the person who bought one a few months ago. Nissan must be having some problems selling them the wipe out the profit.
