With the current "horrible economy", "sales down across the board", etc. -- are people seeing really good incentives from car dealers?

For example Nissan.... how much "Off" are the Altima's going for, in case anyone knows?

Saw a new mazdaspeed6 at the local dealership, with a $27,900 sticker on the windows.

Wow... that's a neat find.  They stopped making those in '07 didn't they?  I wonder if there's some further dicker room beyond that.  That's a lot of car for the mid-to-upper $20s.

They used that car to block the lot entry/exit, that is how I noticed at a drive by ... which means they really REALLY wannt to move it. The car itself doesn't interested me tho.

I'm also interested in what is really a good deal theses days. Someone must be offering great deals to attract buyers. I need to buy a small or mid sized sedan in January and I'm not sure as to what to buy yet.

Ford has delivery allowances on 2008 Fusions of $7,500 SEs & $9,000 SELs as part of their extra value year-end event. That puts an SE at $17,749 and an SEL I4 at $18,249,  SEL V6 at $21,749 or SEL AWD at $23,749 according to ford.ca.

I've never driven a Fusion but it's worth trying one for that price.

Anyone know what incentives there are in Ontario for '09 F-150's and '09 Rams?

F-150 Crew FX4 loaded:
- $1,000 in no-charge accessories
- $6,000 discount 'delivery allowance'
- Is 0% for 60 months available in Ontario or just select other provinces?

Ram Crew 4X4 Sport loaded:
- Approx $4,700 from Chrysler
- Pull ahead dollars of $1,500
- Anything else?
- Anyone have a general idea of how many '08 Ram 1500's are still in inventory, as I figure once that stock is depleted the equivalent discount will transfer to the '09MYs. Still see a few '08s on the lots here, but seem to be dwindling.

Any info appreciate. Thanks!

I would wait until the summer and buy a 2009 as the unsold inventory on the planet will be huge and the incentives to get them off the lots will be something we have never seen before:

Local Mazda dealer is trying to unload a 2008 RX8: $12,000 incentive.

Toyota has 0% financing and 1.9%-2.9% leasing. That Matrix is tempting!  Grin

This information is sometimes hard to find, and often not available on a manufacturer's web site OR its on a somewhat hidden url page. What we need is a one-stop resource and stop wasting time.

Please use this thread to update as many manufacturer's links as possible, to Cash Incentives especially. Here are some in no particular order. In the case where they frustrate your search for this information, that's noted too. Then maybe someone will notice and improve their sites (not likely). And if you can find better/more direct links, please post those:

GM Cash Discounts by Model ($4k off Cobalt SS expired March 2  Embarrassed ):
http://www.gm.ca/gm/english/corporate/offers/price-adjustment/overview?adv=RDCBYO

Chrysler Cash Discounts:
http://www.redflagdeals.com/forums/showthread.php?t=683869&page=6

Honda Discounts, Cash and Finance: Have to fill in the basic area info first:
http://www.honda.ca/HondaCA2006/SpecialOffers/default.htm?L=E

Hyundai:
http://www.hyundaicanada.com/Pages/SpecialOffer/SalesPromotions.aspx

Nissan:
We are above this giveway, thank you. The economy will rebound this month! Or, its cruel Easter, just TRY to find this info!

Mazda:
Cash off? What's that? Anyway, there is some finance info by going to Promotions, Region.

Ford (note: the site is not Firefox browser friendly, use IE). However when you get to the information, its very poorly organized and almost impossible to tell what if any cash buyer discounts exist:
http://www.ford.ca/app/fo/en/special_offers/regional_offers.do

VW: Almost nuthin':
http://www.vw.ca/vwcms/master_public/virtualmaster/en_ca_on/shop___price/specials___offers.html

Audi: Ditto. Also a few regional offers:
http://www.audi.ca/audi/ca/en2/special_offers/spring_event.html

BMW: No real world joy to be found in the specials here. I mean, 4.9% is called a special rate. What's Prime today?:
http://www.bmw.ca/ca/en/insights/special_offers/special_offers.html

Kia: No cash discounts disclosed. 0% max. 36 months:
http://www.kia.ca/offers/details/ON

Toyota:
http://www.toyota.ca/cgi-bin/WebObjects/WWW.woa/12/wo/Home.WhatsNew.Events-vA7HOYFdtl9pXmN7P0N9Mg/0.9?fmg%2fpromo%2fp101000e.html

Mitsubishi: A bit confusing, looks like no cash discounts, however 0% 72 months on Eclipse and Endeavour only, shorter maximums on others, varies from 36-48 months:
