Sonata and just reading about Mazda6's $4Gs off right now has me thinking we could use a "Current Canadian Incentives" thread to go along with the "What did you pay for your car" thread.
Might be beneficial to lurkers too.

This is a place to share knowledge of any current Canadian car or truck incentives in the marketplace.
This month I've heard a few promos in addition to the usual domestic 0% and discount frenzy: - Use Air Miles toward purchase of Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep products - Up to $4,000 discount on Mazda6's - $3,500 and $4,000 discount on Hyundai Entourage's - $1,500 discount on 2006 Volkswagen Passats, likely higher on 3.6L VR6's |

I wasn't aware of it, but if true and can influence someone in the market...From a CCC report: 2006 Mazda MAZDA6 5dr HB GS I4 Manual Trading Dollars/Factory to Dealer Rebates $4,000.00 12/31/2006 Add in 0% financing for 60 months and you have a smoking hot deal on a 2006 model. I almost feel like getting one "just because" |

Is that 1500 on top of any deal one can make with the dealer. ie. is that from the factory?? |

For Mazda, can 0% financing be combined with $4k off? My sister just bought a new 2006 Mazda 6 wagon last month, she got the $4k off but not the 0% financing.
Still $25k taxes included for a 4 cycl Mazda 6 (she went for the V6 Wagon with sunroof/sport package for $29k all in) is a good deal. For the price of a Honda Civic, you get a much nicer Mazda. |

for the mazda - the 4K cannot be combined with finance incentives (according to the carcostcanada report).
I'm sorry I ever read this thread and saw this incentive, as I've always eyed the mazda6 hatch as the "2nd car" but always wrote it off as more $$ than I want to spend (and keeping my eye on sub-compacts instead). This brings it into the realm of reality.
However, my more sensible dearly-beloved spouse is giving me the evil-eye so we might just be waiting a little longer for her 626 to die.
I'm trying to convince her that 4K is a steal-of-a-deal since the 626 probably doesn't have more than a couple of years left in it.

Not air miles, Aeroplan points (air canada). You also GET 40000 pts with a 2006 car purchase lease. Also, they pay your 3 first payments (up to 500 x 3) and 0% (36 to 60 months). |

Right you are. I read the CCC report and saw "Trading Dollars/Factory to Dealer Rebates" but my holiday cheer addled brain read "Stackable Cash" which was what I had plus 0% on the Tribute. Sorry for the misinformation |

The note re: WRX prompted me to resurrect a Subaru Outback 2.5i SE that I did awhile ago.
Current incentive on that is $3,000 - Ontario Region only - should there be any about.
