00 Acura TL Rims fit other vehicles?
« on: December 08, 2006, 10:10:39 pm »
Hello,

I am trying to sell a set of Acura TL OEM rims with winter tires.  I am sure it fits all 5 lugs Honda/Acura.  Some owners of other vehicles has ask me if they will fit their car.  Is there a way I can find out? All I know is the bolt pattern is 5x114.3 and the offset is 55mm.  Some vehicles with the same bolt patterns and tire size are Mazda 6, Toyota Camry, Nissan Altima/Maxima.

There are a lot of Acura/Honda owners out there should be able to find someone. Dont think a lto of other vehicle owners want to run OE Acura wheels on other makes of cars. Also limited becasue of the hub bore. Find a Acura forum and post them for sale. Sure you will find someone...

The Acura rims are 16"? They are essentially identical to the Honda V6 5 bolt rims. But the offset differs slightly depending on model and year.

We have 2001 Acura 16" alloys on our Honda Accord for part of the year. Lots of Acura owners are going to 17" so we bought them as cheaply as steel rims.

The wheel will have some numbers on the back. They will say something like 16x6.5JJ ET 42. The first two #'s are the wheel diameter and width. The # after the ET is the offset. Most FWD cars have positive offset.

Most cars are hub-centric. For example, Subaru rims have a 56.1mm center hole while Mazda wheels of the same size and offset have a 67mm center hole. But Acura and Honda are the same. Not surprising since the car sold as the Acura TSX in NA is sold as a Honda in Europe, for example. It's one big corporate parts bin.

I've bought and sold rims on eBay and craigslist.
