I am also a relatively new fan of basketball, and I do enjoy watching Steve Nash play. I was hoping for the Suns to go to the NBA Championship last spring, but they fell just short. I am also a long time fan of cars, particularily fast and noisy ones, so the Shelby-SRT Charger article (should it come to pass) should be a fun read. Good luck with your plan. |

I followed Nash from his NCAA college hoops days playing for Santa Clara University. Long before the hippie hair days, this kid could play hoops. If I were Steve Nash, I'd one at least one of these babies. |

BTW - when people ask me about 'them Sens' I always ask if they have a three-point shot in hockey. The Shelby is one hot contender - I bet it's a hoot on the open road. |

Ppl that want/buy the Shelby are not that concerned about the interior; that's not what makes the car desirable to them. |

Ovr, argree that buying it is based on its performance, but I've got to believe that they could have made it look better and less like it was made out of LEGO |

Ford will, however, sell every one they make/Shelby mods. Personally, I don't lust after one, as I would rather have the Shelby GT (which, unfortunately, is not to be available in Canada, well, maybe not so unfortunate as that's stops all thinking about it). The 500GT is a heavy beast. There is at least one here, but not a good time of year for spotting cars like that. |

The Shelby GTs of the 70s were very well executed from all aspects - guess they forgot that on this version - or, in very Ford-like fashion may have run out of design $$ when they got to the interior of the vehicle. |

I love playing B –Ball and had to stop playing college ball due to knee and ankle issues. Nash is a class act in sport in a sport that is full of trash talking, inflated ego, and highly overpaid athletes. The NBA needs to go down the route of the NFL with a hard salary cap. |

The GT500 certainly DOES have a limited slip rear differential...

Particularly liked Part 2 of the article. I've never been to California, but have tried imagining the traffic jams. I have been to Florida, so do have a taste for the customization, but am sure Cali is further into it and more of an automotive graveyard.
Part 3 was neat too... have wanted to drive in the vast stretches of AZ for awhile. Think it'd be neat. The wheels on the GT500 don't do anything for the look IMO. Of the two, the Charger SRT-8 looks more menacing. |
