Really great comparo..... but was just wondering about part 2.... is it out yet or when is it due?   If it is out then where is it. I am in the market for either of Rav4 / Santa Fe / CX-7........ So really looking forward..... if anyone knows anything please do let me know.....

They had some Santa Fe in the local mall, in an empty store( no dealer in town)
I found that the seat did not travel as far back as I like and could not find a comfortable driving position
So I would have rule out a Santa Fe for me

CX-7 wins on looks alone, but having to put in premium fuel all the time is a turn off. Did drive the Santa Fe on the weekend and was impressed with the package and interior, but would like just a bit more room.

Steering wheel tilts and telescopes and that got me into a comfortable spot but two things stuck out - quiet and quick. The quiet was nice and very similar to the Highlander I drove earlier. The quick was the darty steering which responded a little too quick and could catch a person off guard.

But the build quality and little details didn't go unoticed and it could be a contender later in the year when we face the test of "Subie or No Subie". My vote says no after having to put new tires on the current version. Seems that they only last for three years on Foresters.
