$25,000 Used SUV

Hi, I am looking at purchasing a SUV, any suggestions?

I prefer import, SUV 5 seats body style(7 possibly?), no wagons.

not used for offroad, not used for towing (possibly?), require AWD + leather, sunroof, year 2000+

want: paddle shifters, HID, bluetooth  ;D
i know i can add these except the paddle shifters that is available on the overpriced RDS hehehe

I really don't get it.  :think:  If you only need seating for 5, you don't want to go off-road,  and you don't want to tow then a station wagon would be a much better choice than a SUV.

Yeah, but that would make sense.  Besides, station wagons are soooo uncool.   ::)

Look for a Subaru Forrester.

You want a paddle shifting, HID, bluetooth enabled SUV with leather, sunroof, and all the trims for $25k?  Have you considered which vehicles have the options you NEED and considered how much they are NEW?  Paddle shifter and HID with bluetooth....that's 2004 and up buddy.  Most of them are fancy dancy expensive lux SUV's.....I'm sure you can find one wrecked.

I'll echo what others said. It sounds like you want a Wagon or Van but just perfer the look of SUV's.

-No Towing
-No Offroad
-No 4x4

I suppose just cause it a good enough reason.

Well.  Let's see.  I'd start at Porsche Cayenne.  Land Rover Sport.  A Denali would not have a paddle shifter.  Maybe also look at the BMW X5.  The brand new MDX? 

You got to be reasonable with your expectations and understand the budget.  Can't buy caviar with :spam: budget numbers.

Infinity QX4, 2001-2004 should fit most of your bill.  Or save some $$$$ and get a similar year Nissan Pathfinder LE with the AllMode transfer case.

There's tons of these things that 'almost fit the bill'....guy's out to lunch when it comes to budget and expectations.  4/6 is pretty good.  4Runner, Pathfinder, Grand Cherokee, Tribute....lots to choose from when you take away a few items.

Yes, you are right.

I don't need the capability of the SUV but I prefer the style.  I am now alloed a wagon b/c my gf will give me too much spankies - verbally :)

I might tow and go off-road but it will not be my priority.

Also the options are optional, just what I would like.  I was browsing generally at cars and looked at the RDX and the bmw 07 3 series, that's why I mention the paddle shifters.

I'm considering MDX and 01-04 Pathfinder LE.

The only thing I need AWD, SUV, import + leather.  Bluetooth+HID, I can put in aftermartket for 1K.

good to know I'm getting lots of replies though.  any other suggestions?  $25,000 cash and if there's a car I must have, I'll loan the rest.
