I mean to get into the luxury market. It takes time to build up reputation, they'll have over 10 years of people saying they would never pay that much for a Hyundai, and then maybe people might start to notice the value. It may happen it may not, but they will need to stick at it for a while.

Lexus did it right. A success from the get go.

Interestingly, Lexus finally branched off as a separate brand in Japan.

I think Hyundai needs to branch of "Genesis" or "Equus" as a separate brand as well.

Pretty impressed that the Santa Fe is a Top Safety Pick considering it's been on the market what, 4-5 years now? All the other models are much newer. And for some reason, I didn't expect to see the Soul on this list (as it's based on the Rio, which isn't here), but good on Kia!

I like the Soul...I see lots of red ones...look pretty cool.

Interestingly, all the drivers seem to be well into their 50s.  I found that odd.  (And I don't mean '50s tunes either).
If it flies, floats or f#%&s...rent it.

I like the Soul as well, it's a pretty cool little vehicle.  There are lots of them on the roads around here and I'd say the vast majority of drivers are females in their 20s.

My wife thinks it sucks, DIL likes it, I find the driver seat dose not travel far enough back back for me, but I think it looks OK
