Saab might as well just close down in this country. We as Canadians sure don't purchase many sportscars do we. Look at those numbers best selling sports car what ..an RX-8? ..and it's a 4 door. Thanks foir posting SirA Railton |

Yeah, thanks, SirA! Nice to see that sales of the Suburban are down over 10% compared to last year. Might be useful information for trying to get me a good deal on a new one. Hmm... October sales are up, though.... maybe I should wait until November? |

So, Porsche in Oct. sold nearly the same number of trucks as they did cars...
Now imagine if someone said that would be the case a few years back. |

equally interesting is the number of Boxsters vs the number of Carreras. To quote J. Clarkson. You buy a Boxster because you are too cheap can't afford to buy a 911 |

Saab might as well just close down in this country. I was saying that last year myself, but at least Saab is up. That 9-7X - even if they're incentivising it it's still gotta sell for more than a TrailBlazer - is moving better than I thought. We'll have to see what's in the pipeline, because what's out now doesn't have legs for long.
The brand that really alarms me is Jaguar. |

Thanks SAM…..Where are the Lexus IS250 and 350 numbers?
Still listed under IS 300. I don't have a breakdown between the two. Lexus is finally picking up steam in Canada after years of lackluster sales and dealers banking on the RX for volume. GS is suffering still after last year's huge pick-up in sales from the previous generation, and the RX is under attack. New ES is doing well and I expect the new LS to really elevate the brand as a whole. |

I dont know why Honda sales are down. Even sales for the newer CIVIC is down. Can understand Accord is a older model and with the newer Camry coming in people are buying less. but Experts any Ideas on whats going on specially with the CIVIC's. Is it the finance rate/quality/insurance cost?? |

The new Civic came out this time last year. Year over year numbers can be misleading if you don't look back. |

From the way things are looking, Lexus and Toyota have another month of phenominal sales in NOV.
IS, ES, RX, a decent month for GX, and a superb start for new LS sales. Yaris, Corolla, Camry, Matrix, Tacoma, RAV4, Tundra, FJ Cruiser - actually everything save for a few are strong.
The Nissan Quest is dying.
Relatively weak month for VW Jetta, with Golf/Rabbit only 14 units shy.
CR-V and MDX off to quick starts, Fit racked up much higher sales than seen in the past.
35 Kia Rondos, but only 44 Spectras??!
Full sized SUVs are doing well. |

You know what they say, buy a convertible or a motorcycle in the fall/winter... |

Weird. They reported 2,242 Camry sales. Wonder if the press release or reporting is wrong?
Is Benz nearly out of Smarts till the new ones arrive or have the lower gas prices really affected it? |

I kinda like the Fusion although I have neither driven it nor sat in it but have driven the 2.3L Mazda 6 hatch. With the (now) available AWD version it seems like an all around tidy package and the scuttle-butt is that the Mazda 6 (non-turbos) will be getting the AWD option too. Having just been through the snow in Vancouver I don't think I will get another car/CUV without 4wd/AWD again |
