Hopefully North Americans respond by not buying a single one.

Like North Americans, and especially Canadians, did not buy any Mazda3s (made in Japan). Nobody wants well built cars isn't it?

North Americans need to get their collective heads out of their collective behinds and realize that without an economy having a significant amount of manufacturing capability we are screwed. One way to do that is to buy cars that are designed and manufactured HERE and not overseas.

Hmmmm...so I guess buying the domestic cars made in Mexico are out of the question, eh?  Or what about the current Buicks that were (mostly) designed in China?  Are those on your list too?

So, you are saying that we were supposed to buy inferior products (e.g. Cobalt, Caliber, Focus) just because they were built HERE?  Huh No No

Where is HERE  Huh   Bang

Once the US/Canada autopac was expanded to include Mexico it marked the beginning of the end for Canadian production.

Ford has already stated that they intend to lower their NA content in Canada from 15% to 10%.  Fusion, Fiesta, all made in Mexico including engines and motors.  However, you still have the average Canadian moron thinking Toyota and Honda are foreign.

But, don't DESPAIR!   I heard a "public service" announcement that PART 2 of the CON's .... ACTION PLAN was soon to come to a town in decline near you.  Smiley
