Thanks for the compliments, on the "Another Volvo joins the fold" thread.
You are an awesome group!
Mdx5 asked about that "fold". Happily, they are hidden away from public view, so do not represent an eyesore. Longer answer is two nice and driveable, another almost driveable, plus about 1.5 depending on how you calculate it. In my case, driving them, working on them and learning is a hobby, and I can't think of a better car that offers the same balance of old-style British top-down sports car experience with modern capabilities at a modest cost. i'm sure someone may differ, fair enough, but I absolutely love the look of the Michelotti-penned lines.
On another thread, there was discussion about Dream Cars, and being satisfied once one had acquired their dream car. If its dreaming, shoot high, keep working at it, and be happy with what you've attained so far. If you're not dead, then the story isn't over; human nature is that dreams shift and that we generally want more. My dream car is a 1928 4.5 Litre Bentley. Chances of getting one are extremely small, but I surely enjoy my Spitfires and Volvo right now.

Oops, sorry, off soapbox, backing away, backing away....
