GM cuts losses
They didn't LOSE quite as much money this 1/4 WHOOPEE.
In North America, GM lost $374 million US, but that was an improvement of $1.3 billion US over last year, the company said.
What does it say when the big excitment is that yopu only LOSt 374 Million last 1/4. Talk about everythng being relative.
Globally, GM's market share in the quarter was 13.9 per cent, down from 14.4 per cent during the same quarter of last year. It dropped nearly a full point in the U.S. from 26 per cent last year to 25.1 per cent this year, losing share mainly to Asian competitors.
