I desperately want one of these but am having a bit of a hard time convincing the wife  ::)

I was checking out some of the prices in the US in the fall and OMFG what a steal (you could pick one up for $~21k US). Have the Cdn dealers moved far from MSRP?

My local Mazda dealer hasn't. I had to bring the GT in to get some service done and one sales rep told me they just moved their last 2006 Speed6 a couple of weeks ago. They had it for over a 1 1/2 year... Guess the dealer owner's pride is more important than his bottom line...

Did the clutch mod on my speed 6. Wish I did it earlier, just like my Mazda 3 now, no surprises. I bet they'de sell more if they set it up this way in the first place. I think it scares a lot of people off (good for us!)
Any issue with your car? I love mine to death but the trunk request switch quit working which will be fixed under warranty. The dealer is great which is one of the reasons I keep going back to Mazda.

Not so far, other than the frustrating clutch in stop and go traffic. I suspect I have an issue with a clutch pedal spring that makes thing worse than it already is by nature. But I'll have to look into this clutch mod...

I think there's 1 2006 MS6 still on the lot here in Ottawa...in the fall they weren't willing to budge much below MSRP due to the "rare" factor.  ::)

The more I look into how easy it is to bring a legacy gt from the US in the more I think I'm leaning that way.
