A great car!!
Speed 6 is always one of my favourite sedans on the road.
Its agressive and sporty exterior, powertrain, and interior were so cool when I testdrove the car.
I love it!

Great car!  I still have to drive one to feel the power.

Do you ever drive your other 6 and if so, how do you find the power (or lack of) after driving the MS6?

Also, how much better/different is the suspension on the MS6?

 I love that car. The only reason I have a 6 Sport and not a MSP6 is because of the added utility. The MSP6 has one sweet looking a$$. Awesome.

I was wondering the same thing...  how does the performance compare to the V6 Mazda6?

Very nice. One of the few new cars I'd consider buying if I wasn't too cheap to actually buy a new car.

Very, very slick car. Love it. Glad you are too! The suspension height and sporty bits are just right. Looks aggressive yet still classy. I like the piano black finishes in interiors and like the way the MS6's interior is set-up. Will have to get a ride and feel the 'Speed sometime.
  :skid:

One question: I also really love the look of the contrasting black/white interior. Did you want all black (easier to keep clean, more your taste?) or was that model the one on your local dealer's lot and you went for it?

The 6 Sport looks great too, as they all do.

I always get a kick out of driving by people's houses where there's near identical models of the same vehicle in the driveway.

Looks great, love to hear more about your AWD impressions.  Also, a dumb question, do the rear seats fold down?  I've heard conflicting stories and been to lazy to go to the dealer and check it out.

Yes I do drive the other 6 quite often but only once, yesterday, since I got the MSP6. Both are great highway cars that can go effortless very fast and require you watch constantly that speedometer carefully. Funny that I felt yesterday the V6 invites in a more relaxing drive when the 6 GT is hugely recognized for its spirited driving when compared with the Camry or Accord. That tells how the MSP6 is or can be an extreme machine. The steering effort is much lighter on the V6.

The MSP6 is much much more powerful than the V6 with 280 lb-ft vs. the 190lb-ft of the V6. There is no turbo/torque lag below 2800 rpm, which happens to be the engine speed in 6th gear at 120 Km/h or in 5th gear at 100 Km/h. So any throttle increase under these circumstances brings instant acceleration that pushes you back in your seat.  ;D To put this in perspective, the MSP6 has more torque than the G35 and IS350. There is enough torque to cruise at 2000 rpm as long as you don't want to feel that push in a hurray.

But it is unfair to compare the 5-speed automatic transmission with the manual 6 speed. The 5-speed auto can get easily confused during spirited driving and the manual shift mode doesn't work well as the transmission takes longer to upshift then when in the fully auto mode.  ::)
The auto trans hesitates sometimes before downshifting 2 gears abruptly and induce significant torque steer. I know I would have enjoyed more the manual transmission with the V6 though the torque steer would likely be more pronounced.
