We've been toying with the idea of a loaded Ody or Sienna.   :'(

I understand your situation. The salesman toyed with a very good deal on the Sienna and my son wouldn't get out of the Sienna.

Way to practical those things...room, comfort, safety, versatility....

If you can, wait for the '07 Sienna, due in Dec/Jan, which will have the 3.5 V6. That one will be able to haul ass as well as people and cargo.

I'm trying to avoid it completely.  Wife likes the Land Rover's and minivans whereas I like a 5 wagon.  Dollars to doughnuts, she is going to win.

Come to think of it, the 2007 Sienna would have a 3.5L V6 oozing out 260HP atleast, won't that be the same as your current MDX? 3.5L 260HP?

Yes.  it will be close in HP numbers.  The Sienna is a great van, driven my uncle's LE.  Huge inside.  HUGE.

 Very nice! The one shot looks like you're looking towards the back of an airplane it's so big! But you probably have more elbow room in the Toyota!

She's definitely one huge sucker, but drives like it's a lot smaller!  Last night, my wife took her grandfather for a ride in it, and he couldn't believe how quiet it is.  When we got it at the dealership, the only way I knew it was running when the salesman pulled it out of the showroom for us was that the tach was reading just under 1,000.  Some really nice features in it that I don't know about yet.  And we have a DVD player that we are scheduling an install for.  A nice Alpine unit for half the price of the OEM Panasonic made one.  Good for stopping the "are we there yets" on a long road trip.

This weekend, I'll get to move a mattress in it - it's first real cargo load.

Congratulations weebl!!!   :drive2: :bounce: :bounce:

Same thing happened when I brought our Camry home: I didn't know the car was running, it was so quiet! I couldn't believe how refined it felt when I drove it off the lot....

Ah...she lets me do my thing....and I let her do her thing.  We're both happy.  It's her car, so what she wants is what she gets.  We'll see, she still loves the MDX.

Congrats on your new wheels.  I also drive a 2006 Sienna.  After toting my 2 year old son around in it for about 4 months I often wonder how I had ever got along without it.  So damn comfortable, convenient and useful.  You will definitely not regret purchasing it.

Don't think it's out yet.  I gave her the brochure and she wasn't taken aback by it.
