Meguiar's NXT
« on: October 01, 2006, 07:38:55 pm »
I have used the Meguiar's Gold and it gives a good finish, but takes alot of elbow grease to polish.

Anyone used their  NXT product ??? Is it any easier to polish than the Gold ???

I've used it.  It's a good wax.  Not great but it's easy to use and it gives a good shine.

NXT is really easy to work with, it gives a good shine and smells great. Although it does not last very long.

Agree. The shine is excellent and very deep gloss, and its VERY easy to use, but I didn't find it kept its shine for more than a month if your car is parked outdoors.

I use Maqs Gold Class paste wax and have no problems with it and like the shine and protection it provides.

I like the NXT Tech Wax (liquid polymer)... goe son and comes off easy, but as everyone said before me, it doesn't last a super long time.  4-6 weeks and its time for another application.  Luckily, I like detailing my car, and also, it's incredibly thrifty because you only need a VERY small amount to cover the car.  I've used the same bottle for about 2 full years now and thats doing both of my cars every 6 weeks on average (not as much i the winter, though, but a nice double-coat in late fall).

I tried NXT last week. It was very easy to use and my car looked great. I'm going to pay close attention to see how long it lasts.

I use the NXT paste wax and really like it.  I'll typically apply two coats about a week apart from each other.  It lasts at least 3 couple of months this way.
