I've tried to take the same shot with even less success.  The shutter has to stay open for song that even a surgeon's hand would cause some blur.

Thanks for all your appreciative comments, guys.

Another WHITE car.....But it's a Mazda  ;)...love the shifter..but gotta say I prefer the standard rims....watch out fer pebbles on the road..lucky yer in SUNNY!!! P.CoQ or ye's be snow plowing half the Winter...ta fer the Pics.....

I like the standard rims myself, but these are light-weight Motegi's.  I could definitely feel the difference once I installed these in my car.

PWP, thanks for sharing the pics.  I think your car looks fantastic with those black wheels and the tints on the white Mzd3.

Got any shots of the whole car?  It's hard to take in the whole perspective with those sexy wheels when I can only see the front half of the car.

Hey Giant Dwarf.  I'll take some more pics and will post them when I get the chance.   :)

Nice ride.  The short throw and springs must make it ever more fun to drive than it was new.  :)  I actually like the stock rims better...  but that's only cause yours aren't my taste.  Still, looks good, and not toooo ricey.  ;)

The springs have definitely improved the handling, albeit at the expense of the ride.  It's not too bad, still.  Atleast not much lean in corners anymore!  Hahah... I think it's a little bit too much of a boy-racer look.   ;D

Always loved the 3 in white.  The drop and the rims look sharp as well, I just hope they don't rub.  I have read on the forums that you have to be careful with wheel offets on these cars especially when lowered.

Also, did I see a casette deck in the head unit?

No, they don't rub.  My offset is 42+ so it's all good.  The guys over at www.bcmazda3.com are very informative, so it wasn't much of a problem for me.

And yes, indeed, you saw a cassette deck in the HU.  I've got several early 90's songs in a cassette tape that I just can't seem to get on CDs here.  Thus I had to order it.  Our 1999 Tercel had it...

You could convert your tapes to CD.  I used headphone jack on my old Walkman as the output and went into my MP3 player's line-in.  Then you can use your computer to clean up the audio if you wish.

Nice job on the car....the aftermarket Motegi's look smaller but I like the design.  The lowered stance gives it a good profile.

How much do you rims weigh?

Rims weigh 18.5 lbs each.  Tires add 18 lbs more.  So just about 36.5 lbs on each side.  (!)  Stock tires and rims are around 45 lbs, IIRC.

Thanks for all your appreciative comments, guys.

Cool look'n ride. Receive any problems from the police for your tinted front windows?

Nope.  LOL.

Edit:

BTW... these pictures don't do justice.  The tint is only 50% up front, but it looks like I've tinted it 35% or less!

In real life, you can barely see it's tinted in the front.

Nice ride.   I like the blue lighting.   Hmm, maybe a tripod would help with the low light photos.
