Because everyone flame years ago. When I said that toyota were out selling the dometics....Anyways Its more a generalisation than a fact. never said it was a fact I said it just my opinion right or wrong. I just notice more new import cars on the road than new domestic. Grin

Toyota have that could even wake me up?

Toyota Celica Thats about it......... Undecided

a)  It's the way you're presenting your opinion then that's so misleading?

b)  The Celica is dead now, isn't it?

I don't think it's being 'offensive' as misleading.  Keep in mind that a lot of people view this forum without any real automotive knowledge or interest.  They come here, perhaps as guests without ever signing up for specific information because (perhaps) they're in the market for a specific vehicle and collectively there are a lot of very bright individuals here presenting a lot of facts from a lot of valuable resources.  Sure most of us spout off our opinion (and why shouldn't we?), but I think we're collectively usually very careful not to misconstrue it as fact instead of opinion.  When people like Snowman demand sources and facts it's because they're helping to ensure this place remains a key automotive resource for a lot of people.  I certainly appreciate that people like Snowman are so vocal about maintaining the integrity of the site even if we don't always agree with everyone's individual tastes and opinions.

Oh, come on...  I haven't ridden in one, but my understanding is that the Celica was pretty light and tossable, so yes, actually fun to drive.

...but it's still a moot point to me here as a North American citizen.  There is not a single product in the Toyota (or Lexus) line up that would be my first choice in any category.

You may not "mean" to be offensive, Meow, but you often are offensive. So, maybe it's the way you present your opinions and arguments.  Huh Roll Eyes

Nobody is forcing you. Its called choice. Although you don't have as much here as you would in Europe. We also have roads with bends Kiss

Meow why do you always go on about how great Europe or the UK is?  Why did you go to Canada again?  Can we swap places?

My question is why would ANYONE, who is even vaguely sane, wish to continue on at a site where he is almost universally disliked, despised, and disrespected.  Huh Huh

Au contraire.  Your stupidity has everything to do with this.  Or perhaps you are accustomed to being abused, as I recall, and actually enjoy it.   In that case, fasten your seatbelt, because we are all sick of you and your ignorant pronouncements.  Enjoy the "interation," as you so eloquently put it.

To the rest of the people on this forum who haven't been around as long as some of us have, and to any guests reading this... look away.  This idiot is by no means representative of what this place is all about.
