They did a pretty good job on the looks.  That interior is pretty darn good too, as opposed to the last gen which was shamelessly generic GM truck with more wood.

However, I don't agree with the demographic that this truck is being marketed to.  People with more money than their (lack there of) tastes  can handle.  :-\

"C'mon....you guys are the ones with enough money to bling out a 'Sclade."

RIGHT!!  ::) :P :rofl2:  :rofl2:  IF I held free title to my house and sold it at full market value, I could afford one of those and perhaps get a Mazda3 on the side. At least I'd be able to live in that monster.  :P :P

Oh wait, I forgot that the interior is pretty small for the size of the exterior.

Your review was so much beter then Yap in the toronto Star today
EDIT: Link to star removed.  The same article can be found on CanadianDriver here: Escalade Review by Mr. Yap

I do not think he should be allowed in anything bigger then a sub compact.
He wrote like he was scared of the size of the Caddy and it was not the extended version.
If he got paid for that review, call the Fuzz because he just rob the Star

Wing kept up the good work on your reviews.

What?? ??

Well why would you buy this SUV. I don't mean to dis the SUV, I'm sure its very fine SUV. But Like Clarkson would say. Your saying no to Lexus. No to BMW. No to Merc. No Porsche...All these motors are better and would hold there money more so why would you?

Mmmmmm.....May be I just don't understand the Nth American mentality......

I have had a soft spot for Caddies ever since a cold day in March when I had the pleasure to drive my first CTS.

Wasn't it cause most of the bits were from a Saab?

When you consider what the Escalade is going up against, it's obvious that GM knows what to do whereas Ford is completely clueless.

I think that the Navigator might have the slightly better exterior, but the Caddy wins for interior design by a mile.

Mr Meow--you're thinking of the Cadillac BLS.  The CTS is not at all related to any Saab at all, to my knowledge.  It's RWD, for starters.
"Geography has made us neighbors. History has made us friends. Economics has made us partners. And necessity has made us allies. Those whom nature hath so joined together, let no man put asunder. What unites us is far greater than what divides us." -- John F. Kennedy, addressing Canadian Parliament.
