BMW has said it will offer a proper six speed manual on the 2007 M5, as a matter of fact. AMG does not offer manuals, and that's a big reason I would take the M5 over the E-class AMG any day.

All this talk of how fast an auto can shift is kind of pointless - it still lacks the feel of a real manual. And that's what matters.

As for the Charger... gimme.

Drop the six speed stick from the Challenger in there and you've got a real car.
