It's California in name only.  They could have called it the Utah edition (with seat heaters), but how cool is that?

Is that the same as the boot lid?   ;)

I think most drop tops come with one....but some are a pain to get on.  Snap on manual ones that the end of the day, stay in the trunk or the garage.

tonneau cover is from BMW ;D

The  one our 3 series, power lifts to hide the roof, looks great all the time

The expensive luxury droptops will have the lifting hard cover....they are nice in keeping the dirt off the top.  My roof area has been taken by a roll bar....so my top sits uncovered.  Besides, it's a soft boot and is a PITA to put on and off.

I was going to break my lease on the sedan and trade it for the convertible.  I'm finding that I don't need the sedan as much as I thought.

I've decided to hold off for another year when sneak pics of the redesigned 08 Accord sedan and coupe will be available.  I've heard that Honda my have a new convertible up their sleeve for the 08 model year to compete with the Solara.  If not, I'll be going for the Stang and if I can afford it maybe even the Volvo C70.  I went to Ford and checked out the Stang.  I didn't drive it but sat in it and ran over the financials for breaking the lease on the Accord and everything was good to go.  I'm still a little weary of North American Cars but at least have started to consider them again.  3 years ago I wouldn't have stepped foot in a N/A dealer.  I found the Stang to be well built and there is plenty of room in the back seat AND trunk room even with the top down.  The only thing I didn't like was the way the doors closed.  They sounded a little bit rattly and didn't have the solid thud sound I'm used to.

I will give a link below to a US website that is good for all Mustang info, including CS model for '07. Bear in mind there will be price differences to Canada, and some minor US option differences.

Gorgeous...I love how the black stipe is "hidden" on the black car.  Great link...thank-you!

I thought the Solara was going away?  A certified pre-owned BMW 3 droptop, an A4 droptop, a Boxster or even a 911 droptop would be sweet.  Big money in real estate now.....

It's supposedly going to be replaced with something "sporter" (albeit by Toyota standards) in 2010 I think.

We probably have similar roll bars.  Mine blocks part of the road behind me, and I can't put the top down or up while sitting in the car.  Also, I unzip the plastic window before I put the top down. It still only takes me a few minutes to put the top up or down.  Like you, I seldom use my soft boot cover.

All I need to do is press the button and top down or use the key in the down to open and close the the top.
Best if the grandkids are there to yell out top down  as it goes down

I've got the Hard Dog Deuce roll hoops.  3 point anchors and whatnot so it's actually a strong bar.  I also can't raise the top sitting in the seat.  I have no zipping/unzipping window but it takes me 20 seconds to get out of the car, and raise or lower the top.  That time includes the clamping/securing of it too....

Even 20 seconds is pretty darn good if you've got to get out of the car.  Gotta love these little Mazdas.

From my driver's seat, with one arm I can lower or raise the top faster than I could open or close any sunroof I've ever had.  There's not a powertop out there that can beat me either.  ;)

Gotta love these little Mazdas.

More and more every day.   I was sitting at a light yesterday morning....and I had the top down.  It was so cold I saw my breath!  6C in the morning and 30C in the afternoons.....
