OMG Saf!   Fall Drool

Get that thing back on the road!  I always gave you "cool points" for the dark horse Millennia, but the Elan is SWEET!!!

No doubt eh?  He's been hiding the Elan for so long...16K posts and the tarp is finally lifted.

Hi Saffy, I was at a car show today and took some close-up pics of an Elan for you, they are hi-(ish)res so you can zoom in and have a look at the detail.  (I've just realised, Probably need to zoom out on the engine ones to get them in context/which way up etc.  )

I am surprised that they didn't wipe their cars down to get the dirt off them. You can chammie them off during the day for the rain but take the mud off.  Smiley

I had a good chat with the owner, and he showed me some pics.  He bought it (before I was born ha ha) as an accident write-off in 1974, it was a white hard top coupe then.  Then it went through a range of colours and mods, until he crashed it big style!

Then built it from the ground up again, he really knows his stuff.  And he's also restoring another for his wife.

Some info if you need it.

Gotta say it all RunsinLight: "It's a 2006 Pontiac G5 Pursuit GT Coupe"

I'll miss the Pursuit name. Yours looks quite slick!
