2012 Mazda5 GS w/convenience.  MSRP $25,535, paid $24,774 (3% over invoice), $50 for nitrogen and no other fees.  Probably the easiest deal I've ever done.  Sales person wrote down the prices with all the fees, I wrote my offer and we both agreed it was fair (I didn't low-ball) and they accepted it.  Probably could have saved more but I was not interested in staying at the dealer for a couple hours.  Deal was done in about 15 minutes.
Auto or manual?

There's a site called www.carpricedatabase.ca which I think people might find useful. It's specific to Canada and allows users to share and compare how much they've paid for brand new cars across the country. It even ranks your own price when you submit it. Pretty cool...

I'm a little confused by what you mean by no location?? It says right there which city and province they're in...

Did you want the nitrogen? or did they say the tires already had it so pay up?

The deal just got better  :)

The Ford dealer called and they had forgot to get me to sign a form, from a letter that I got from Frod giving me $500 for buying a Ford.

I should get the cheque in about 6 weeks.

So now its $25,500 driveaway... don't know how they make money on this deal

2012 Hyundai Elantra Sedan GL Package.  MSRP: 19,299 including $1495 freight + PDI + 100 air tax + $30.20 oil levy + $5.00 OMVIC fee = $20,929.20

I paid $19,823.01 including freight, etc. before 13% HST taxes. Discount was $1,106.19

2.9% financing.

Was this a good deal?

I thought the 'oil levy' was strange too  :-\. I would've waited to find out if I got a good deal or not, except I got into a car accident and needed a car asap. I hope the deal I got was good, just wanted to hear from others.

Bought today for my daughter -
Hyundai Elantra Limited Nav.
List - $24699
Paid - $23900
I offered $23650.  They came back with the $23900.  I accepted.
I figure that was 3.25% above invoice (quote of $23150 from Carsaver.ca freebie site)
They dropped their $199 Nitrogen & Tire package surcharge when I refused it.
They said that Hyundai dictates that they can't try to add Admin fees.
Rubber floormats (f&r) included for free.  $136 list price.
No surprises.  No BS. A very satisfying experience.
Dealer - Airport Hyundai, London Ontario.  Sales lady - Jan.
I highly recommend them.

2012 Hyundai Elantra Limited
$22,699 MSRP  2.9% 60 months
-$1,500
-Free winter tires with rims (Obligatory use in Quebec from Dec 15 to March 15, IIRC)
-15% off mud flaps and window visors
As posted above, no BS, everything above board, pleasant non-pushy sales and good advice (yeah, from a sales guy, who would have guessed) when we were considering the Elantra Touring but the sales guy reminded me that the Touring uses the older Hyundai 2.0L DOHC 4 speed auto engine (instead of the new 1.8L all aluminium block with dual cvvt with new 6-speed tranny) and the price was not far off ($21,849 for Touring GLS). Good people there, Hull Hyundai.

Intersting posts recently on Hyundai. I think we all accept that they've really turned their product around in recent years...now it sounds like the dealer quality is getting better as well.

What the heck is contained inside "Registration Fee $495"?   :o
