New 2008 Honda Accord EX-L with auto transmission.
Total Price = $21,800 + $1,689 sales tax = $23,489 out the door.
New 2008 Honda Ridgeline RTL ( Top model = EX-L ) .
Total Price = $28,500 + $2,209 sales tax = $30,709 out the door.
We bought them a month ago at Riverside Honda in Riverside, California. I got the Ridgeline and my wife got the Accord. We have been Honda owners for 25+ years.
I realize that these are US prices but I thought somebody may be interested in the fact that they are giving fairly decent discounts here as well. |

Dorin you paid $500 below invoice WOW not sure how you pulled that off.
That is pretty common in the US. I have paid well below invoice on the last several cars I have purchased. The dealers have incentives and hold-backs that are not reflected in the invoice price. For example, the standard hold-back for a Honda is 3% which means the dealer cost is at least 3% lower than the invoice price. It could be much higher because of additional incentives. The incentives will vary by the car's color, time on the lot, time of the month, etc. |

How long do we have to wait for 1 to equal 1. in Canada. Since this has been the case in theory for some time now vis $C/$US MSRPs should be equal. The cows are home. |
