sorry, my cat jumped on my lap and my first message got sent. but i see it did not even post to the board..
anyway, it was for a 2007 accent 2 door.
thanks for any tips you can provide in negotiating a good price
ps. no way it could have been a FIT, as they don't leave the lot for less than $23K unless you bring your own KY |

Friend of ours wanted the Fit Sport. $20's for it...she ended up with a Vibe AWD. I'd go with that car too...lots of good deals on them and they are a decent vehicle with their partnership with Toyota. The Vibe/Matrix has been a good seller with the Vibe getting the better looks. Tips on getting a good price? Carcostcanada to get the invoice price, the markup, the incentives etc....and work in a fair profit for the dealer and you have your new car. |

"The Vibe/Matrix has been a good seller with the Vibe getting the better looks." Ugh - I can't stand the Pontiac style snout. Matrix looks much better in my humble opinion. |

actually, you know something; what you said means something to me. my employer sais i get a car deal of "dealer + 4%" with honda (at specific dealer only), GM & ford (canada wide) . so, when i went to honda and asked that they showed the MSRP price. so i was confused. now i know they just tried to screw me. so, when i go to GM tomorrow and ask about their pontiac wave price will be be sure to ask their dealer price and show discount. thanks! hope we are still on topic Knucklez |

BTW, the Wave/Aveo/Swift+ is probably the WORST car currently available in North America. The one I drove last summer was pathetic in almost all regards. It is a rebadged Daewoo. Buy it only if you have very low expectations, care nothing for resale value, don't mind poor gas mileage (for its class), poor handling, a gutless engine (even for its class) and iffy reliability. |

If you actually knew something, I would have to put in a lot of effort grading your work. That was unnecessary since you confessed to complete ignorance, thus saving me a great deal of time and toil. That's worth an A+ in my retired books. I'm all about efficiency. Wait a minute...did you just call me stupid? |

Can't seem to get anything less than $500 over Dealer invoice for Toyota Corolla 2007 CE.
Anyone know why? APA charging $600 over invoice, and ARL (at work) $500. Is it because the Toyota is so popular or am I doing something wrong? |

How much is $500 over invoice in $$$ under MSRP? Personally, I think $500 over invoice sounds good on a 2007 Toyota. Have you tried the Mazda 3 yet? |
