I have not had the opportunity to check out the Hyundai minivan, but have seen and drove the KIA Sedona. The Sedona is a very good vehicle in all respects. Perhaps gas millage is not as good as one would hope, but it does have good acceleration and easy shifting. The one area that I find the real telling in evaluating a product is warranty, and KIA has the best. Their warranty implies confidence by the manufacture that their product will be reliable over the longer haul. I find that automobile reviewers do not highlight warranty, and they accept a 36,000 mile 3 year warranty acceptable/ competitive, and even indicate that a 36,000 mile warranty car (like Toyota) is more reliable than a 60,000/100,000 mile warranty car. I would recommend that warranty be a major factor in reviewing any automobile. And lastly, I recommend that fuel type (regular vs premium) and fuel efficiency also be a bold item.
