Hey, congrats on the new truck, Snowy, looks good. Our immediate neighbor to the east of us has one almost identical but he has had it for about 4 years now. It hauls stuff, pulls their trailer, and acts as a commuter if need be. They have been happy with it and have had no problems.

Assume this is to haul the ATVs, and other stuff to your new cabin in the woods. Should work swell for that.

You were looking used at one point, but new makes more sense to me, particularily with a truck.

For some reason I want to own a truck for occasional use. I don't have any occasional use as of yet.  ;D

Looks nice. Keep us updated about your ATV transport options, that rack or train.  :)

Why make us click?  I edited it.  Looks like it is in great shape.

Man oh man has GM come a long way with interiors for '06 though, that looks dated.

Truck looks like new.

14.7L/100 ... what does that translate into with a trailer hitched?   :)

Nice truck Pepe.

My buddy with his Sierra 2500HD Duramax just inked a deal on a new '06 Yukon for his wife...something about 0% financing...  He does not like the new GM trucks, he is a truck dude though, the new one's seem to appeal to the "nouveau" truck guys.

Oh, and he's trying to get me to pick up his 2004 Odyssey that he's getting rid of for the Yukon...
Internal combustion thrust I trust

Definitely a sharp looking and very clean unit for a used truck. Thats exactly the model I am planning on buying next for a dailey rider. Probably sell off all of the cars and just keep the old truck and a new one on hand for everyday. The dash may be dated but it is a very functunal design that is quite comfortable to use. Overall these trucks have a very good reliability record as well as they never sit long on any lots at all.  :)

Nice
That is almost the same truck I have, I do not have the fog lights.
The dash is very easy on the eyes it has not have the in your face look of the Fords or Nissans.
The Toyota interior are just bad
The drive is very nice, no problem to do a 20 hr in the truck
I have gone 86,000km with only oil changes and air filter change.
Driver mirror was also change because it stop heating
I find with my truck load up with cap and ladders I wil get between 450-550km a tank

Thanks for the kind words. I met with the owner as he as picking up his new truck and have secured first right of refusal when he decides to get another GM truck in 16-20 months. He works in the Oshawa Plant and most of his buddies flip vehicles in the same fashion, some in the 6-12 month range. Since they get the “real” GM employee cost plan they pass on the savings on to the new owners. There is a niche industry here.

Yes the GM staff are allowed up to 4 vehicles a year which you have to keep for 6 months. Some of the guys buy every 6 months and then update them at that time. It can be quite profitable especially with the 1st 2 every year. There are lists even for the vehicles to go to the US which can actually make them even slightly higher profit. Generally enough profit to cover the fuel and insurance for the year just in one of them alone. The more options the better as they are easier to sell.  :)

Very nice looking truck Pepe!

It should serve you well for many years (or 16-20 months).  :rofl2:

Interesting. I've now learned something new today. :)

Very nice looking truck! I live the silver color. And I like your inter-lock driveway.
