As Jil says: This car is the Boss on the stereo, nowhere you have to be, the roof down, the road open, and nothing to look at but stars and a centre line that goes on forever.
Did Ford get it right? Damn right they did, in spades. I usually am not a large fan of Jil's reviews but this one she is bang on the money. She must be closer to my age than I thought from her pix as she understands what many on here are missing - to quote her: "it's not for tuners or sports car fans..." and "for grey haired enthusiasts..." Other quotes of hers are on the money - "styling right...sounds right"; "V8 roars to life.."; and this one: "If that rumble doesn't get your blood pumping, you don't deserve to be called a gearhead. Go buy a minvan..and leave us alone". I love it. |

Saw some blue Mustang coupe today with Rousch on the sides. Exhaust note was so mean, it scared me. These cars are a throwback to the pony express....well before my time but even though it would not be my first choice for a $36K droptop, it's very high on the list because of the snarly V8 and the pound for pound best bet. A few extra dollars in mods and you're looking at one hell of a screamer.

If it truly was a Roush modified Stang, it don't need no mods at all.... |

I agree with Jill's review save for one point. Namely, that this car is for the 'grey hair' set I disagree I see plenty of Mustangs with 20 somethings driving them. This car is timeless. |

If it truly was a Roush modified Stang, it don't need no mods at all.... It was stuck in downtown traffic but the exhaust snarl was very evident that this was no stock pipe. The body kit was extremely aggressive, and I think I heard a supercharger whine but I can't be certain. It was the very sexy blue (same colour as your's Ovr) with the white racing stripes.

Yeah, this would be the car I would buy if I could say "Damn, the cost, damn, the insurance rates and damn the price of gas" It's gorgeous (IMO), goes like stink and can be serviced without getting bent over at some high end dealership. NefCanuck |

Seen both young and old appreciate the car, but more often than not, it's the older greying middle age man.

Better invest in a hat buddy. The dome doesn't need to be shiny and red.

I don't know I see more "old men" driving Porsches than anything else but of course which average 20-40 year old can afford a 100k Porsche. |

Exactly. Plus I see a lot more Mustangs than I do Porsches. |

No average 20-40 year old buy a non-ordinary car like a Porsche. I see a lot of 911's around. Yesterday must have been a day of 8 or 9 Porsche sightings. Most are driven by men in the early to late 40's - 50's.
