I pick it up Friday.  It's a little different than most Miata's out there.... ;D ;)

Picked it up from a great guy who seems to be a Miata fanatic.

Put that one on hold.  The Porsche and the NSX were considered but in the end, I have a few other toys I want to buy as well.

Sweet! What a great toy to add to the stable. I hope you really enjoy it. My brother picked up an older Miata ('92?) a few years ago and he still loves it.

Well done MdX5. All that turn on a dime handling combined with the extra hp from the supercharger should make for many spirited adventures. 8)

Very nice - I like the early ones much better than the later Miatas.

Car's from Edmonton.  Owner is part of the Miata club and the car appears to be maintained to a tee.  From what I know, the mods are:

Jackson Racing supercharger
KYB adjustable shocks
FM springs
stainless steel brake cables
Hard Dog Deuce roll bar
FM boost gauge
ACT clutch
Bipes controller

I'm sure I am missing something....but that's the stuff I remember.

Looks good.  Great setup and likely similar to where I'll start if I ever get back in a Miata.

Time for an intercooler/water injection and a pulley.  8 psi here you come ...

Check and see if the swaybars have been upgraded.  Given the shocks and springs that would make sense.  If yellow/gold they are JR, if Red they are FM or RB.  Can't remember who's bars are blue.

Also check out under car bracing.  A front and rear subframe brace would help stiffen the car up a fair bit.  RB front and FM/Cannon rear bracing is the best.
