Aren't there enough Miatas beating up on your S2000 already?  :)

I"m fairly confident against yours ;)

Some people don't mind when you refer to their Miata's as girlie cars. That what I always use when I reference my car.  I actually have a plastic doll taped to my license plate cover during events

Wouldn't those be 5x100 with the weird Subie offset though?

45mm offset, not many cars can use them. I just don’t feel like forking out $1300 for tires right now after by spontaneous deflation.

For light wheels (for your Miata) look here.
http://www.good-win-racing.com/mazda/miata/title.html?toparea=Miata%201990%2d2005&catname=Alloy%20Wheels&titlename=Wheels

Some of the wheels shown on the Good-win site can be purchased through TireTrends.

Thanks 84.  I like the 16" size, but still open to 15".  17" are too big for me and probably too heavy for the car I have.

I have thought about the:

Konig Helium
Konig Holes
Konig Rewind
Konig Minus
Rota Subzero
Konig Network

We shall see how it goes.  I might have to start a thread in the tires section soon.

Car looks nice, MD, even matching color.   ;D

Those of you that are lucky enough to live in Cowgary should not be too concern not having a proper place to run the car, since there is already the pleasure to joint Daytona Deerfoot on a daily basis, although often incident filled and yellow flagged.

Put your car back to stock and let Runwhatyabrung run my car and it'd be interesting.  ;)

Mdx5, Good-win Racing seems to be a hot name on the Miata boards.  Really good people running the shop with top Miata-focused products.

You've got some good wheel choices listed there.  I really like the Konig Minus.

My mods really didn't do much for the car, it was all driver adjustments.

Take my car stock and put in Runwhayabrungs hands and I guarantee he would beat his own time, it's mostly in his lines and momentum carrying.  It's all driver, seriously.

I don't doubt it for a second, Wing.  I'm just teasin' ya.  You know I have to... since those S2k guys are the arch nemesis and all.  :)

:-[ thanks for the kind words gentleman, but I really don't know what I'm doing out there. I just drive as fast as my girlie car can and back off a little when my butt-O-meter tells me I'm going too fast.

That's the thing, that little thing in your brain that is attached to your butt-o-meter is less sensitive than mine :P

Got the car home around 5ish and the drive down the QE2 was interesting.  The SC really makes a difference in acceleration and passing.  It's not too powerful, but it's a nice addition.  Crusing mostly around 130kph with a few spurts up to 140kph.  The car is so connected.  It's not like the 911 I drove where it beats you into submission and laughs, the Miata smiles with you.  The small tank in the Miata made for an interesting ride home.  I was hitting empty as I left Edmonton with 3/4 tank and the 300km was just that.  I filled it up with 6L to spare.  The car is great.  Very nice feel, very connected, and the shifter is very precise and throws short.  The ACT clutch releases low and is like an on/off switch.  The heavy duty clutch wasn't as bad as I expected.  It's pretty easy to modulate.  I really enjoyed the drive.  The sun was out, the weather was co-operating....it's all good.  Car is mucho fun.

Dammit now I am too. Sigh.

I should use the Miata listings in Autotrader as motivation for my job hunt.

Sweet toy MdX5.
