From there, you'll have cell coverage the whole way, unless parts of Riiviere du Loup to Edmundston don't have it.
Watch out when you're between Rivière-du-Loup and Edmundston ... that stretch of highway is a well known death trap. They're working on a 4-lane but keep your eyes open for eager Quebecers/Ontarians who are used to double lanes.
Remember one thing: on Route 20 from Montreal to Riviere du Loup, the accepted speed is 120 to 140. Please don't drive in the left lane at 119 with cruise control on.
The Sureté du Québec loves to put up speed traps between Montreal and Quebec in the summer ... on the 20 and the 40. If you get caught in one ... anything over 120 isn't a good thing. Some people will tell you that they went through the province of Quebec at 150 km/h ... they were just lucky. If you're going at 140, make sure you find yourself a good buffer!
