Ok, so I have this dilemma coming up right shortly.

I think in order for me to follow my dreams and go to school, I have to sell my car. Which isn't a bad thing, really. (
See Here). On a side note: It doesn't do anything for anyone else that drives it, just to me!! Seriously. I don't really care if I have it or not, as I'm going to be 4500 kms from my family, and I do have friends that have vehicles as well.
So you need some info (haha I'm cheating...I'm looking at the Owner's Manual): 2000 4 door Cavalier, 2.2 liter L4 Engine, remote keyless entry system, automatic, power locks, tape player, 2 new tires....ummm what else do you need to know? Oh, I have about 147,000 km on it (not quite sure as the LCD crystal used for the odometer on a lot of the Cavaliers that year were faulty - my mechanic told me - and I don't have $400 to get it fixed. Will I need to get it fixed before I sell it?? It does work, it just doesn't show all the numbers all the time), it's highway driven 99% of the time......
I have until next April to pay for it, then it's mine. But I honestly don't want it b/c of the extra cost ($400 payments every month, plus $100 insurance--Manitoba insurance, possibly more elsewhere, so that's $500 more a month that I could have). I was thinking of asking about $3500 for it. Is that too much or too little?? Should I sell it privately or just take it to a car dealership and let them handle it?? (I'm seriously thinking the car dealership, just for the easiness factor). Hmmm. I think that's all that I can think of at this time.
