$51,199CAD for the coupe and $56,099CAD for the convertible. The only option in the catalogue is the Shaker 1000 audio system that retails for $1,975.

Spec sheet-  http://media.ford.com/products/presskit_display.cfm?vehicle_id=1374&press_section_id=398&make_id=92

Actually, MSRP is $53,199 for the coupe and $57,299 for the convertible.

Well, that makes 3 sets of prices - wonder what the correct numbers are?

Is that a quote from somewhere? Because it is wrong. http://www.stangsunleashed.com/index.php?categoryid=18&p2_articleid=98

A non-Mustang forum but here's a more "official" post.

Buying a hardcore sports car like GT500, one has to go for coupe instead of convertible.

The Shelby Cobra is a lot of $$ for what you get and porky!  3900 lbs.  An Aftermarket Saleen Supercharger looks sweet and makes same 500 HP on the 4.6 L Aluminum engine, plus it's got that sleeper look.  Take the GT badges off and it'd look like the old LXs from the 90's; plain looking but FAST!

PS
John Coletti has retired from Ford.

Confirmation on the MSRP for the Coupe $51,199CAD , my brother ordered his yesterday, same colour as the car in this review, and in  this video
http://www.mustangevolution.com/ford-bold-moves-gt500/

Before leaving the dealership,  my brother was asked if he would sell his car to a customer who  offered $15,000.00 above what my brother paid.  He said NO.
